Lucob Cleaning Services cc was established in 1998 to offer Industrial, Commercial and Domestic Cleaning Services to targeted clients. Lucob is 100% Black, Woman owned and controlled enterprise with executive and operational involvement in the business.
Lucob’s management team is comprised of a woman managing member with diverse experience ranging from Financial Management, Administration, Marketing to Corporate affairs.
Lucob cleaning services has, over the past 17 years, successfully serviced over 30 clients amongst them including Standard Bank, Transnet, Meeg Bank, Stats SA, SASSA and many others. Existence of Lucob’s success is the many times customers renew their contracts – Lucob has been in existence for 17 years in the Eastern Cape. The Company and Ms. Nonkwelo have been recognized with a number of prestigious awards.
RECRUITING, TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT OF STAFF
Lucob Embraces the Intern Programme sponsored by Services:
Seta, providing practical business exposure and learning. All the past interns were subsequently employed. The current four interns will be absorbed into Lucob‘s staff compliment once training is complete.
Continued staff development policies are in place to ensure that staff is nurtured and empowered to advance personal ambitions. Staff development policies are pursued through the provision of on-the-job training and the provision of assisting employees to obtain formal qualifications related to Lucob Cleaning Services.

SDC is now contracted to Mdantsane, Zwelitsha, Alice, East London Mthatha and Mount Frere Magistrate Office, a business only 4 years old, employing 50 fulltime staff members.

Member Profile
Lungisa, a seasoned entrepreneur, worked for a number of years for one of the leading financial Services Companies, Old Mutual and during her employ she amassed skills and experience and expertise at senior management and administration levels.
Lungisa, though an entrepreneur is highly involved in local and community programs and she is a former Provincial Executive member of National Federated Chamber of Commerce (NAFCOC) and Provincial Trustee of NAFHOLD( Nafcoc Investment Arm) She has served as Board Member of the Eastern Cape Development Corporation and of the Services Seta.
She holds the 2008 Daily Dispatch Business Award and is one of the 2012 nominees for the Eastern Cape Region Business Women Association (BWA) for the Entrepreneur Category She is the current Regional Vice Chairperson of the Eastern Cape Boarder Regional Service SETA for the Cleaning Chamber, representing National Cleaning Contractors Association (NCCA), and serving as the Member of the National Cleaning Chamber Board.
Lucob Cleaning Services has, under Ms. Nonkwelo’s direction, grown to one of the most successful comprises in the cleaning industry in the Eastern Cape area. In 2012 Lucob qualified to participate in the Eastern Cape Jobs Stimulus Fund, creating 148 sustainable Jobs. The company comprises more than 250 staff and services Blue Chip Clients in the Eastern Cape.
